You don't need rehab, you need more.

Update: I went back to get the 1862 and it was gone. Seems someone forgot to tell the crew I was coming back after the rain to pick it up. Got my money back and found what I think is a 1541 and bought it. I was not letting this one get away so I vowed to load it mud or not. Got it loaded, cut a valve stem getting unstuck, had to lay in the mud to hook the tow chain ,then spent the day explaining to the boss where I was and why her truck was covered to the roof in red mud.
Good Times ![]() I am covered up at work so hauled it in the back of the truck all week. We spent today stripping it. It shows 700 hours, manual steering which I will probally be selling, cv joints in driveline looked good and had been greased regularly. I do not know about the hydro but the fluid looked clean and the filter looks to have been changed recently. I think I came out ok because I got the buildable engine, driveline, extra hydraulic spool vales and lines, rear frame plate and hydro for $40. I think I can sell the rest and get my money back.

I think you're a better sport than I am. I'd be foaming at the mouth if they sold something out from under me after I'd paid.

I have a 72 Monte Carlo that belonged to my best friend. My sons and I have it stripped down doing rust repair and building it back. It has been on the back burner while my wife is in school but she is almost out now so we are starting back on the Monte.
Ad to that one son is turning 16 and getting my truck I will be starting on a 66 C-10 for me to chase parts in. At work we are working on a 68 Lincoln for the boss. Kinda like the car in the Dax Shepard movie a couple of years ago. It is nice to have a company truck to free up my personal stuff or I would probably be walking a lot more, lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
