I had to go look in my garage to make sure my 125 and wagon was still there. It is. Whew!

Nice find on that combo!

Thanks,

I also grew up on a 125; one of my favorites for sure. Great score.

Thanks--I did not mean to put you out for additional pictures. I appreciate you taking them, though. You do not need to take other pictures of it with the engine on it. I do not have anything like that and I have not seen anything like that before, so it seems like I have an extra set of brackets in the garage somewhere. I wasn't for sure what they were for, but now I know. Mine was on a 126 that I bought from a school corporation.

Wow, I cannot believe how nice the paint and metal is on that 125. Looks like someone took care of their tractor. Glad it was passed on to good hands.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
