He used it to "muck" out the winter steer pen since a regular sized tractor didn't fit.
Yikes, that thing looks like it's been rode hard and put away wet on more than one occasion.

They still have the original frame with the cracks in it.

It was a tool on the farm and got used. It may not be the prettiest O around but it still runs well.

Those are the best machines. The ones that run well, but don't necessarily look the best. ALL of my machines get used. Sure, I wish they were all painted up nice..... but then I'd feel bad if they got scratched. Maybe someday.

That's exactly how I am. I use the two I've got and sure I wish they were all painted up nice and shiney but then I wouldn't use 'em! A little dirt and a couple scratches never hurt anybody. I call it character!

Anywho, back on topic

Are those rear wheels a lot wider than usual? Cool looking tractor for sure!

Actually Jonathan that's how those early Danco's were set up, at least the ones I've seen at shows:

Well.... I think we can agree that the one the OP posted isn't a Danco.

I don't see a reservoir in the pics you posted. Is it on the other side??

It's the small canister in front of the grille, the two small single action cylinders on them didn't require much, lol.

Well that's what I thought. So.... none had the large tank on the side though, am I correct?

Any help would be great!
Thanks

Since the loader is not the factory nor dealer installed optional loader, might as well just use the bucket that is on it.
Unless your wanting a different size bucket.

Do you have any engine pictures to share?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
