Ryan,
Tim G. lives in Polo like John B. does. Tim actually got John started on cubs a couple years ago and he now has 50+ cubs. I don't think Tim is a member here. IIRC, there are three bigger collectors in Polo, Tim, John, and the other guy you know.

Good show, great video. That's what it's all about. These little tractors up through steam engines are the reason for a gathering of some really good people. Mike

That was one awesome tractor show. The drone video was great. I would like to have something like that in Tennessee. Maybe in the future.

Thanks Ryan! I do have a lean towards the NF's... but in the video I'm caught red-handed plowing on a Cub 86 with a 10hp diesel in it.

The show is super close for me, about 6 miles. Was able to haul everything home in 4 loads, but took me 5 getting them there. LOL

Josh - So you heard the JB story - I had ONE cub cadet, a model 70. He found me a 73 in mid-resto.... it came to my house in 200 pieces. that started it all, built my plow cub 73, and once you have two of them, I found they multiply like rabbits!!

Hey John!
Didn't know you were a member here! Yep, when I was talking to Tim this weekend, we were chatting about all your nice cubs. Tim chuckled mentioning he got ya started a couple years ago. You have a nice collection BTW. It was nice meeting ya, if only for a few minutes.

Josh, I watch fairly regurally over here, and support a few of the sponsors, just don't post a whole lot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
