Holy cow!! Where did you get that beaut?

I had a wee 'un compared to that, an 8" reflector on a german equatorial with motorized skewing and tracking but sold it a few years back, just had no time.

But that beauty is in a whole different class! I take it you must be into astro photography as well? Very Very nice, and cool idea using a silo dome!

Exactly how it's been in South East Michigan too. My backyard is a low spot and normally isn't an issue but half of my yard has been under water for the last month. The humidity has been so high that the grass, that isn't already under water, doesn't dry out and clumps like crazy when you mow it.

If anyone watched the Nascar race last sunday from Michigan you'd know how crappy of a late spring we've had. (not to mention the worst race I'd ever been to).

I'd rather have cold and snowy weather. But, looks like we'll be making first cutting hay about, November, December....raining every other day here. I bit the bullet and mowed the lawn with wet grass that was almost a foot tall....2072 hates me now. Lol

Hot, rainy and very very muggy! We've gotten so much rain my garden looks like hell! Over 7" since last Friday. The grass is a chore to keep up with. Supposed to have a heat index of 101 tomorrow!

mid 90's to 100 here, running a good 5 deg hotter than normal. Fortunately we have been getting scattered thunderstorms most days and the reservoirs are pretty full. Hoping to see some low 90's soon, but its not being forecasted.

It's looking like here in the NY, NJ, & PA area, we are going to be getting the remains of tropical depression Bill. Watches and warnings for flash flooding issued yesterday, with some areas getting up to 4 inches of rain.

I hear ya, I'm about 15 miles from the track, seen a lot of muddy vehicles coming down the main road.
Bright side is the car washes are having great profits.
We had a good start on planting, then it rained some, finally we all got planted in this area.
Now it is raining on/off every couple of days with a couple of bigger accumulations.
Many farmers lost some crop areas to flooding.
Some hay fields are cut and rotting instead of drying, others are overdue for cutting.
I was south of Detroit Metro airport (DTW) about 10 miles last evening, and only 5% of anything is planted, with water standing in last falls muddy combine ruts.
Crop spraying is only a hope @ this time and need lots of sun, and no rain to dry things.
Lawn mowing here, is in between rains with clumping under the deck, the norm.
Why can't California get a little of this moisture?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
