You may be able to have a machine shop make a short spacer to take up the difference in shaft length. As long as part of the bearing in the pulley part of the PTO is on the shaft it should work just fine.

No, you will have to use another clutch. You won't be able to change just the bearing. Not that I have ever seen anyway. If you are able to just change the bearing, let us all know. I don't think you can though.

I just looked at the specs for the M18 in the service manual, it says that the shaft is 1.125" so you should be able to use your existing clutch. I'm wondering if Roland meant to type 1.125
