SNOW SUCKS! Give me grass to mow and nice warm sunny days so I can float in the pool like a whale any day, thank you very much.

Edit: It's still August, please hold off on the snow crap for a couple more months guys, snow talk at this time of year is bad karma.

Default I found my answer....it's green.

I found a hydraulic answer to my manual snow removal problem. I found a 140 H3 with the 54" blade. This is one cool old tractor. It's the first tractor of any size I've been only besides my Cubs for the past 30 years.
I think I'm really going to like this. The hydro is smooth and quiet, the blade functions great, it drives very well and it has all new tires all around. The big Kohler starts as easy as all my Cub Kohlers have and it doesn't smoke.
I was very surprised with how quiet the hydro is. My Cubs are all noisy and some very noisy.
Regardless, I should be picking it up this Thursday and I'll be ready for my hydraulic snow removal season!

All pictures were upright on my desktop...sorry.

The blade is yellow.....

I still have lots of Cubs. I would think that would keep me in good standing, if I ever was....... 9 Cubs makes me a lot more yellow than green..... But that 140 sure is something. I can't help it if Cub didn't put hyd outlets on the tractors. They give you a large super tractor with holes in the front, like they're teasing you. I needed hyd and this JD was the solution for probably way less money than a big cub with the same capabilities.
I guess I'm a cool tractor guy regardless of color. I have an old Sears too but I think it might be going up for sale soon.

part the greene out and you will be able to get a nice cubbie,Those blades can go for 600.00. Those DRB's do the same to our cubbies...
just my 2 cents

I'll admit a 140 H3 is on my "list".

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
