I noticed it has the wrong hanger bracket on it. It has the curved up for later cubs and not the straight back one. Don't know if this is making the difference but I agree with others, make a longer rod to cure.

I agree with wrong lift bracket & wrong hanger bracket,don't see any side attatchment pins in quick attach mount slots at front of tractor,agree that longer lift rod should make it work but don't think anything to be gained by removing lift stop as it is already in the foward most position and if all else were correct pieces would not have much influence on blade dropping below grade level. Looks to be an assortment of parts.

Thanks guys, I bought the plow this spring, and never having seen what a 105 setup should look like, didn't know of the issue until yesterday.

I think that that an adapter on the bracket should give me the length to let the plow lower past on the ground

I've seen chain used instead of a lift rod, just tossing this out for thought.
