I like to help my elderly neighbors keep their driveways clean in winter and offer my services as a contractor throughout the year. A couple years ago one of my neighbors, known around town as the "old crow", came over to see if i could change the wax gasket on her jon, it was a rain day so I was home with the kids anyway so I told her to let me grab some tools and i would be over, the whole time i was over there draining toilet and unbolting she was bitch¡ng about the guy she had hired to tile her floor. After I got tha can out the back door i realized that the "tile guy" really had no business owning tools, the flange the toilet is supposed to bolt to was not even screwed to plywood floor, actually not screwed to anything, the tile was "floating", no wood under it at all. So i hav to go under the house, mobile home(where toilet was leaking to) and build a floor for the flange to screw to and remount everything the right way. She asked me what she owed me after about 3 hrs of work and I told her not to worry about it. She actually yelled at me and said "now damn it, your gonna let me pay you" and i told her she was doing me a favor getting me out of the house for awhile. She came over to the house the next day while I was working and gave my daughter a 50$ to give me so When I took it back to her she would not open her front door just yelled at me through it! So i took the 50 and went over to our local ace hardware and put it on her bill! She was a funny "old crow"! She would come over atleast once a week and try to pay me, she came over during a birthday party for one of the kids and brought me an original cub cadet seat that I have on my 104, said that we were even now and I agreed. She died two weeks later! But every time i sit on my cub I think of her!

I am a member of the town "Parks and Recreation board" and this was the second year we sponsored a music festival, with the proceeds going to the Mary T. Klinker Veterans Center. They are a small group of Veterans who donate their time and finances to Veterans in need in a 10 county surrounding area. Last year we raised 6000 and did better this year. We call it "Goodstock Music Festival." Also sponsor free movie nites for the kids during the winter months.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
