I bought a parts missing 682 a while back and am still in need of the a few bits.

The upper and lower shrouds for the muffler.
The muffler if it looks to be in decent shape.

The upper headlight grill which holds the lights.

Will be happy to pay postage as well

I don't know what year it is, but I could use a lower grill (and screen behind it if it has one) if it is an IH built 682 and if a3vo3vo is not going to use the muffler U bolts, then I could use them as one of mine broke on me. The one I have in my 782 is cracked and I have put off replacing it until something better comes along.....and opportunity may be knocking now. If that is too big of a part for shipping, then I understand. Of course I would cover shipping and give you some $$ to boot, as well. Thank you for making this generous offer to us!

Lower grill is worn through as is the ones on my 1811's. Has no screen. Maybe I should keep one clamp for a spare. I could send you one if you wish.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
