Thought it only fitting to take some pictures sitting on the 1811 my dad gave me. Going to show it to him tomorrow. Hospice came today for the first visit and took him off most of his meds. They told mom it won't be long.

Not a lot I can say either other than hope he enjoys what you have done with the Maytag, they are pretty neat little engines. Hope you have a good visit tomorrow.

Thanks folk's for the comments. I'm the same way don't know what to say and say nothing.
Went and spent the day with dad and mom. Dad was doing okay. He got a kick out of the Maytag. Thought I did a great job on it.

Great to hear your Dad thought you did a great job on the Maytag.

As far as trying to say something, even if somebody just posts the "Pray" smilie , know that your family is in their thoughts and prayers. Words are sometimes tough to write.

You'll find out that those hospice folks are true angel on earth. ( I know from my late FIL )

Take care and your family will be in my prayers
Jeff

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
