I always wondered if there was a way to make a 'holder' for the blade out of wood, so the tractor could just be driven up to it and everything would align into place. (I guess if a frame was built around it while on the tractor, that would mark the place it needed held). Might have to have 'bump' to drive the front wheels over to lift it so it would clear the underside of the tractor.

I remove the blade from the undercarrage for summer storage. When winter arrives, the undercarrage is first mounted to the tractor, 1864. I support the rear of the undercarrage with a piece of 8x8 wood block shimmed to the correct height to the frame horizontal bar. I then lift the front to push, click into position. Easy for one person. I then attach the plow using the horizontal rod followed by the springs.
