HEY!! I just saw a 123 frame on Ebay for $10.00! Maybe you can make a runner out of it after all. Even if you can't, or decide not to it looks like money in the bank to me. Hell, if it has the rear lift parts I'll buy them to put on mine.

By the way, I've seen that hdro rear in rough rebuildable shape up for sle for $150.00 locally.

If you were closer, I'd probably have a frame for you. I have a few laying around in my way.

Thanks for all the information. The tower is not in good shape as the po bent out the sides to fit a car battery in, so it appears to me. So when I can, I'll be making a tiller tractor out of it, not too worried about looks, but getting the frame fixed by some way. I dont see the point of buying a new tiller that I have to walk behind. I will be able to make some money back by tilling friends and neighbor's gardens, no dout! But for making new gardens, my front tine tiller can put a woop'in on me! Thanks Matt for the offer, I would hold on to them because you just never know. Thanks , John

Well my friends, I just got done reading Wild Bill's wright-up on tillers. And I made up my mind that this is a tiller tractor. I will not at all bother fixing all the dents and scrapes or worry about paint. I will repair the frame, get 12hp, get the hydro. unit working and all things inbetween. I sorta fancy the hard knocks it has. It will be no dout a fine running machine and that matters most to me being a tiller tractor! I know I will get alot of tilling done. Food on the plate! Then come the tiller and parts to make it come togeather.Being a humble and simple man, every day is christmas day, and I'am very happy about the plans made.! Then next up is the 72. Since it has a nice coat of paint, I would like to make a puller out of it. But the 71 is my go to tractor to just pull the #2 cart and what not.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
