I am 6'1"and weigh about 265#. I had my AG's on last winter on my 1200 and the first storm was ready to push the world with it. I was sadly disappointed as it wanted to spin like a mad man. What it did for me was just get stuck then bore down as the lugs kept digging. My AG's(10.50's) are loaded with antifreeze and have about 50# of weights on each wheel too. I then replaced the AG's with my 8.50 turfs that are loaded with antifreeze and like most said,no comparison. It really performed exceptional. Now I have the AG's on for mowing and they really help out since my yard is soggy and wet usually. I spun like crazy whan I had the unloaded and unchained turfs on last fall..

Well, I guess I'm a lone wolf on this one. I put True Power Ag's on my 123 with weights and did fine in the winter for the most part. If I slipped, then I put my chains on the Ags and had no problem at all. My tires aren't loaded, but with a little help from my buddy Jack, the driver is!!!:biggrin2.gif: I know guys that will switch tires around if they have problems. Really, experience is the best teacher.....just find out what works best for you in your situation.

I am with you. I had no problems last year with my 1650 or 1250 with about 50lbs hanging off the back.

I too had no problems with my ag tires. As they all said, each situation is different. Up hill, down hill, ice, no ice. I've spun on ice with turfs and chians. I've marked up blacktop driveways with them too. Over all, I like my ags. Try not to put so much air in them. Let them squat quite a bit. More surface area on the ground.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
