Just wondering if anyone with a new XT3 GSX thought the transaxal was very loud. I'm coming from a 2166 so I expect it to sound stronger and maybe louder but it really seems to whine particularly under a load tks for your feedback

I like the xt3, I considered getting one before I got my 3000 series. The xt3 is a blend of the 2000 and 3000 series. An xt3 with a berco snow blower and rotary broom would be an awesome combination.

I currently have a Bercomac tiller for the XT3GSX, Plan to Get the Bercomac Rotary Broom for the GSX. The XT3 series Is a similar weight and size of the 3000 series. Wish MTD had Made the Lift Hydraulic or at Least Used an electric over Hydraulic actuator instead of a standard electric actuator. I also Have the OEM sleeve Hitch with a Johnny Products electric lift Upgrade. Purchased the 46-inch Front Blade and even the OEM soft weather enclosure (Love Original Tractor Cabs) But Putting On One for My JD X748 is enough for winter and the OEM soft weather enclosure takes about 30-minutes to install over 1.5 Hrs that the Original Cab would take yearly to do. Once I get a 3000 series In My collection, I'll have a Cub From every redesign. That why I am trying to get the OEM 207 Hitch together. I want all My Garden tractors to be able to work In the Garden

But I will never Own a 82 series! Either the IH red or MTD Yellow & White Because there are two former IH employees One Involved with the 82 series development and the Other a McCormick Family Member. They would Haunt Me to my dying day if I Bought a 82 series Both Passed On In 2006 and Both Hated that series. So I will honor them In Not Buying a 82 series

Why did they hate them? To me, the 72/82 are the best series and I think the cyclops would have been the best if they would have used metal panels.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
