Agreed! The blue looks great!

I think the one for sale just looks out-of-sorts with the original decals still on it. Some International black decals would have completely changed it.

For me, I am going to stick with it's intended yellow and white.

I think I will be sticking to yellow and white for my 1250 Nightmare. I must admit, Old Skull, that you have a couple of fine looking tractors, sporting the Red and White and Blue and White combination.

Those are not mine, the Red one is just a picture editing I did to see what a red QL may look like, the blue one was done by Gofast garage, he sell that tractor few years ago, he even push the joke a bit changing the IH emblem with one he take from a Ford pickup!

If I remember well he use New Holland tractor blue or maybe LS tractor blue, I always think this was the gorgeous custom color QL I ever seen.

Here the link to his site: http://www.gofastgarage.com/1650.htm

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
