It looks about the same size as a gas tank on a little 7 hp Kohler off of an O or similar. Is it the same size?....Or is it the same tank?

Cool find! I do not think that I have ever seen one of those in person before. Glad you scored it! Put it on your 800 for a rare combo.

Pretty neat. Looks almost identical to the fuel tank on my k91. Anybody got any idea how it hooks up? Be kinda cool to put it on my 71

No Honey....the 7hp tank is rounded and much smaller than the 100 tank. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cub-Cadet-Or...3D131939548467

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
