I don't know about the bomb shelter but it may be a good time to sell stocks you may own.

I don't worry about it. North Korea would be the one to use one. But, the good ole USA will have our backs.

This is about the safety of our Cub Cadets sir. Obviously the shelter the original poster was going to build was to protect the Cubs.

I was in the Army in 1964. During training, we were given instructions on what to do in case of bombing attack. It went like this.
Spread your feet a comfortable distance apart, bend over and put your head between your knees then reach up and kiss your butt (a..) goodbye! |

No fears here as I am confident that what lies after here is better. I would suggest though that a good block or concrete Root Cellar will provide better refrigerator then any powered one you can buy and youll have your shelter to boot. Chilly for a long stay but who wants to live underground?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
