If ethanol-free is readily available,,,it is possible that the station simply uses one tank,,
then they can have a pump labeled "10% ethanol max"
and also have a pump labeled "ethanol-free"

The buyer simply has a choice of how much to pay,,,

The single tank would be filled often,,,

The simple test would be to put a little from each pump into mason jars and then see if one seperates after a few months.

Even a single tank is usually around 12,000 gal minimum. Can be as large as 24,000 gal. When you think about how many cars, that may not sound like much..... but if they aren't choosing that grade, then it can take months to empty it. No, they don't have to fill it full, but they will put at least a transport load in, which is about 6,000 gal.

I run regular 87 octane but I use the snake oil (MMO) in all my gas with a good glunk of Star Tron. My pos fuel can lost the little top cap thingy so the can sits out on a wood pallet in my open chicken barn unsealed and I don't have any fuel issues. Maybe I'm just lucky.

The gas in my HD has been in there for about 2 to 3 years now and it started fine a few months ago. I run 93 octane & Star Tron in it.

I'm not for or against either I just never really had an issue yet. Maybe the glunk of Star Tron is doing its thing.

Most buyers will buy the cheaper gas....

Run what you want to run.....been running E10 gas close to 15 years with no fuel related issues.

I run the E10 (I guess, whatever the station on the way home/to work has cheapest) in my Cub Cadet too....never worried about it. However....I don't let the gas sit in the can for long- probably no longer than a month- before I either make sure I use it up somehow, wither it be mowing or dumping it in the pickup. Dad uses ethanol free gas in his boat so it doesn't destroy the inside of the engine.

It is for sale any where or can be , except in counties with big cities and their pollution levels must meet US EPA levels or loose fed funding for roads
KC has been close to loosing funding and would but the breeze blows away the smog mostly to forested areas where it settles
A QT has it south of KC

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
