I made this one new again in a few hours....
My time is worth $70/hr. What's your's worth that you can't find time to rebuild a carb? It takes all of 30 min to disassemble one if you grind the back of the crushed screws off so you can get the butterfly's off the shaft. 8-13-21.jpg8-13-17.jpg 8-13-19.jpg8-13-20.jpg

Mine is not that bad, but I do not have the experience with carbs you and know the tricks and in and outs and such.

You can do what you want, really there's no tricks to it. They're very simple
To work on. Soak it in carb cleaner, take it apart and blow it out being sure all passages Are open and rebuild it.

I bought a replacement carb on Amazon for my K-241 in my 100. My old carb was just wore out and I could not see buying a kit, new float, and a throttle shaft and bushing kit. The replacement cost less money and when I installed it I it started right up and idled well. After a warm up I set the mixture screws, idle speed and the WOT adjustment. It has ben running excellent and the engine has never started this easy or ran this smooth. I can recommend this one if your carb is beyond repairing or if you just want a new replacement. I my self will always try to rebuild the original carb if it is feasible but when a replacement is cheaper I will replace it. I agree with others that these are simple carbs but sometimes it makes more sense to buy a replacement. Good luck on what ever way you decide to go. Here is a link to the carb I bought.

Jmech I'm sure there are people on here who want your opinion, but its just that, an opinion. theres more than one way to fix something. stop acting like yours is the only way. you have chased away so many people lately its not funny. You seriously need to tune your approach better.
We probably can get along in peron, but i'll still tell you to your face you're being a jerk.
