That's awesome, I didn't even know that tractor show existed. I'll try to plan on coming. I'm hoping to fully restore the tractor this winter, but I'd love to mow the lawn with it this summer.

*EDIT*

I also found this in the barn:

Yah it's a great show, the best part is I live across the street from it. Nice snowblower.

I rebuilt the carb last night and got the tractor running. I zoomed around the house, and mowed a bit. It was awesome! Now for an oil change, grease lube, MMO, etc.

That awesome you have it running. One thing you might want to remember is that oil can brake down just from sitting in a engine over time. Even though chances of something happening to your motor on start up it might be a good idea to change your oil before you start it. (just something a oil timer told me) So every year I change the oil in my tractors and mowers in the spring when I get them out fom winter storage. Good luck

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
