Those tabs are always broken aren't they? That and the bottom grille insert ones. I've had a couple of ones that someone "repaired" with L brackets and as long as you don't look too close, it seems ok.

I don't mind the red ones with no lights for some reason, but I don't like it on the yellow/white ones.

I have plenty of tractors with lights so I really don't need this one to have them. The reason I like the no lights look on this tractor is because I think it goes great with the dash that doesn't have any gauges and adds to the no frills look this tractor has to it. The only time this tractor could use lights is if I make it to the night plow at Pa plow day but I have other tractors I could use for that.

No. It will go on my 1211. I have 4 emblems and only one tractor that uses them so I guess I better buy more tractors.

I wonder if my 1512 had the CCC emblem from the factory?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
