I put LED headlights in my 04 Suburban. It's 18 miles to work and I had to stop twice to brush off the snow so I could see. It was snowing heavily.

Must have been a Southern engineer working for GM.

Seriously, this whole thing about the LED lights is rather interesting as its not something we really have to think about here.

Default no heat from LED??

then they bought the wrong ones
I put one of these on my 2185
https://www.amazon.com/YITAMOTOR-Har...+led+light+bar

it makes plenty of heat to melt the snow off

I removed what was left of the factory lights and install this right in their place.
it works great and is bright as the sun.

been on their for over a year now

I have an LED bar on the BX and the heat sink on the back seems to get pretty warm.... Now I haven't had it in a blizzard but with falling snow it seems to stay clear.... TSC purchase...

Default Speaking of LEDs

Is this considered ethical treatment of a Cyclops?

In my case, with the minimal amount of heat generated by the light bar , no harm will come to the cyclops lens.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
