I did not buy the motor new- it came with the package with the rockshaft etc....but I think a PO put a new motor on it. I was pleased when I saw that it spun and changed directions when I bench tested it. I made the mistake of opening the motor up ( so I know the brushes are good) but talk about a real PITA reassembling it.

Thanks Dan, now I know what was wrong with my E-lift. My clutch was to tight so when it hit the end of travel on extension it would push the pinion bushing out the bottom of the housing.
