Got the blades sharpened along with the blades from one of the 125's and the ones from one of the 70's, got them back on. Then loaded the tires (149) and checked the S/G, it works but doesn't charge the battery, guess I'll check the V/R to see what it looks like inside.

Still a little hard to start and wants to run rough until it's warmed up, gotta keep pullin the choke out to keep it from dieing.

Got about 6 hrs. of seat time today, cut a butt-load of grass. I really do like this 149, she ain't the prettiest girl at the dance but she's a worker.

While I'm here I want to take a minute to thank everyone for this site, there are a lot of really good people here and their's always a helping hand when you need it. There is also tons of great information here, all you have to do is go out and put it to use.

CRAP! I forgot to take pictures... maybe tomorrow before we go 4 wheelin.

Thank's guys.

Rick, I found it in your backyard.......New Port Richie. The trunion area looks brand new because the springs NEVER were inside of it. I wonder if the PO had a jerky ride!!! Oh, and why use washers when a couple of eye bolts will do the job.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
