Interesting, that's a 9 spline, my 1772 has an 11 spline (size unknown, havent pulled it apart to get calipers in there yet.)

Do like the Model "T" ford and later the VW beetle did,
use exhaust heat, works for me.

Or just go cheap and easy and strap a twenty pound propane tank to the back of the cab and run one of those little propane heaters. Turn it on and preheat while your getting a hotdog ready to grill on it as you blow. A little twelve volt fan for circulation and defrost and your done.

you can use a turbo intercooler with a fan for George's suggestion - they are usually cheap even brand new.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
