1810 spring assist
Pardon my ignorance on this topic but I've been reading and researching and can't really find what I'm looking for.
What I think I know: CC made a spring assist for the two stage 450 snow blower for my 1810 and another one for a three point hitch to use with a rear mounted tiller or earth plow for my 1810. The older narrow frame CC tractors could also have a spring assist system that would help lift any implement that was controlled by the lift arm (like mower decks and snow plow) What I don't know: Did they ever make spring assist for the wide frame tractors (1810) that would help lift any implement that was controlled by the lift arm (like mower deck or snow plow). It seems like there is room between the frame rails to attach a spring to the lift arm rockshaft, but I don't know if an OEM part exists. I may make my own but before I break out the welder I'd like to know if I'm reinventing the wheel. Maybe the old narrow frame system will work on my 1810? Thanks.
