Heavy grass with clumps just gives me an excuse to get out a other garden tractor to pull my lawn sweeper

Borrow the neighbours mower and see what you think , if you cannot borrow do a "Quid Pro Quo" you mow his and he mows yours
Problem solved

I mulch with a Cub Cadet OEM mulch Kit On My Z-force SX54. I do cut Twice a week In spring and summer Before the Z-Force, I used an XT3 GSX with a 54-inch deck Plus an OEM mulch Kit and I have had good results. But I also cut at a setting of 4 which I think On the XT3 was actually 3.75 inches. On the Z-force, I know it's supposed to be 4 inches, But I think it's still 3.75 inches. When I used the regular Blade On the XT3, I did have more clumps. The Newer OEM mulch kits have really improved since about 2018. So I am happy with the results as long as I cut Twice a week.

If cutting once a week, I would go with Hairtrigger recommendation One day I'll finally get a set, which Maybe this fall as it will be time to sharpen the Mulch Blades.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
