I recieved the kit, and overall, the gaskets look great. You are right Matt, I would rather reuse old head gaskets that put those cheapies in....not that i will.
AJ-Thanks for the stud number. I was hoping someone had a less expensive alternative. I may check our local oddities shop, as they tend to have any type of nut, bolt, tool, bearing, etc a guy might need. We decided to clean up the engine sheet metal rather than paint it. I took rubbing compound to the metal and WOW! it really cleaned up well. Other than scratches, and some yellow overspray from the PO, it looks perfect. I plan on spraying new black on the top of the engine to set it off perfectly. Hopefully we start reassembly this weekend. Thanks for all the help.

Yep mine came as pictured,
I can't believe others make a sandwich style head gasket that is not crimped around the center or fire ring. Old days a composition gasket has one side steel and the other side copper,and the” meat” was asbestos.
