Congrats on the new O. The engine might be from an old Sears Suburban. I believe some of them were that shade of blue.

Nice going on the save Jude.You would have been better off getting my 122! Not as far.
I see that your "O" had a snow blower on it at one time,the bracket on the dash tower was to engage the thrower.How many "O"s do you have that have the lift rod inside the frame rail? I had a blue motor like that but it was an 8hp on a old leaf blower.I put on my log splitter.I see it was a pull start at one time.There should be holes for a starter on the blower housing.

Hey Lew, What's New. sorry, had to say it, I grew up with a local Flooring Co. and there commercials are stuck in my head. That was the main line of the commercial with alot of exaggeration. No more square fenders for me, at least for a while and besides, don't have hardly any room in the shop now. I haven't got any lift rods unfortunately. Looking for a bb36 and rods eventually. Serial # puts it at Jan. 62'. NICE O'

Duke, run out of room? I have the whole second floor of the barn to fill up yet as it's completely empty I'll just have to move all the decks and throwers,etc. up there until I get the time to work on those.

Very nice "O" and a great "save!" Good to know that your trip was relatively uneventful. I have to agree with Zippy, definitely worth the "white knuckle" drive!

Thanks Guys It was a long strange trip. The drive was white knuckle at times especially on the way home, but so worthwhile as it's the nicest O' I own now.
