The tiller has a chain between the Cub and the tiller....no solid link.

On a sleeve hitch system there is a slot in the lift arms on the sleeve hitch and I think there is a slot on a 3 point lift. There is not a need to have down pressure to run a tiller and the plow was design to have some float built into it. I wouldn't run a solid lift arms when plowing. You need some float built into the set up for hills and valleys.

All my sleeve hitch setups have slotted arms. If your moldboard plow is set right you won't need any down pressure.

Wow, there sure is a lot to learn with these things! I've had my 1000 for 9 years and just mowed and towed things with it. I love it. But this 149, now it's a different beast...lots of fun and tinkering. Wahooo!
