If you put mouse balls in there it will scare them away.
Makes the males cringe when they see them.

I bet. I saw momma running away with babies hanging on to her when I started to tear into it, I bet it's really scary being stuck in the blower housing with a giant wheel with teeth on it spinning at 3,800.

I put a new choke cable on the 1211 yesterday, ever since I've had the tractor the choke cable has been a two handed deal and Saturday the knob finally ripped off the end. I got a new one from the parts store for $7 and got it installed, the worst part was getting the nut off the backside of the old one since it's hard to get to. It works so easy now I'm considering putting new cables on all my tractors.

I've found it easier to remove the tunnel cover, and coming up from the bottom to get the k-nut loose. Still sucks, but the easiest way I've found. BUT, I tend to do things a little different than other folks anyway.

That's how I did it but the nut was a little rusty and didn't want to come off easy.

I installed a new solenoid in my 1250. Hoped it would solve my problem bit alas, it didn't. To morrow will most likely consist of checking grounds and going down a list of suspect areas. Also made brackets for my snowplow to lift and lower it.

Mowed the lawn today with my worker bee 127. Nothing exciting, but it'll be time to change out to the blower here in a few weeks...

Washed my cub 72 yesterday. From the backyard pulling last week, the tires were loaded with mud.

Won't be long now, and I'll be attaching the IH 56" snow blade. Rather do that now than wait until its cold out, lol!

I gave my 104 a much needed tune up before winter. It got a new plug, points, condenser, coil, and a new carb. The carb was a worn out walbro and the points, condenser, and coil were most likely the original ones. I dialed it in and the old 104 is running pretty well. I'll change the oil when a pull the deck off in a week and before I install the snow plow.
