my wife and i 25th wedding anniversary was last may. we had went to maui for a vacation for it. when we returned home i had to move half the drive way of snow to one side so i could get the car in cause we arrived home at night from our trip. i figuired i would push the rest of the snow in the morning with the 782 and bercomac blade. it was a lot of fun especially when i had to move this big pile and snow ball.

Finished up my blade finally. I added 9 inches to each side so its now 60 inches total. I made a new cutting edge out of 3"X1/4" flat steel. Hopefully it don't ware to fast. Now one of these days I just have to make new skid shoes and make a better lift rod. I plan to restore it this summer. The floresent lights in my shop do my 149s paint justice haha

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
