Todd not sure if you talked about then but can you elaborate on the 6-12s. What kind and where did you get them? Ags are my favorite on Os and I'm looking for some

Alvy, as I mentioned they are Carlisle Tru Power. I picked them up from Amazon.com with free shipping. Wanted to stay with the original size tire.

Thanks guys, I'm thinking they should look good on the Original, one of these days

Some hardware is a little rough and I won't be using, but figured I might as well send it while I was at it.
I have to say I am very impressed with your attention to detail. Thanks for sharing your progress. Just curious about the plating company, how'd they do with sending you back everything you sent them? There's a place around here that's famous for loosing small parts like that.

The plating company (Pugh Metal Finishing) was great to work with, and everything was returned as promised. I had made a list of all hardware before I sent them, and everything came back.
They've been in business for almost 40 years, they called when the package was received, and again when they were shipping it out. Excellent.
I contacted two companies that were closer to me, and neither could guarantee I would get everything back. Both even said there is a chance some hardware may be lost in the plating process. Unacceptable. Hard to replace the original hardware.

Here's the parts pile. Spare bedrooms are great for parts storage.
Also finished the foot rests.

As usual... looking great!!

You must be married to a good woman!! All my tractor parts must stay in the shop! They would never be allowed in the house no matter how clean they were!

If you have a training secret please let us other guys know!

That kind of service is worth paying more for. I always appreciate the call when a company gets the parts, not that I don't trust UPS

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
