The way things are going down here in the States Canada is looking GOOD. I hate cold weather and snow but I think I could learn to deal with the trade offs.

Huge blizzard is heading up north to my neck of the wood for tomorrow morning, he hit pretty bad on your side of the fence today. I guess we can't dodge that one ...

And here I sit in northern Illinois with only one or maybe two snowfall events this year with a mere one of them "requiring" the Cub. This is a lame winter, just a bunch of rain, mild to cold weather, and more rain

It's raining here today also and I hate it, I'd rather have snow.

Same here in upstate NY. Raining today and in the high 40's now. I haven't had to plow my driveway all season, just shoveled my front steps twice so far. I don't even have the blower or the cab mounted on the Cub yet. I don't mind because I hate dealing with the mud in the spring anyways.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
