That's a nice looking machine. I got mine ready too! Decided to fill my tires too. Super easy a 1/4" hose and a ratchet strap. Each tire weighs 88lbs on the scale. Plus another 50lbs in weights a wheel.

Default What I did with my Cub today.

So today, I started my 123 and ran it for about ten minutes during which I walked around it several times, marveling at how pretty it is. Then, despite temps in the 30's today, I sat on it and imagined riding it slowly down the beach at sunset, throttle in hand. Then my wife told me to shut it down because she could smell the exhaust.

Actually cranked up the 128 and ground up some leaves. Can't remember if it has even been started up this year. Can't beat those old school Cadets!

Default A little cruising and a little working.

Hi guys. My first post. My daughter and I went for a cruise back to our family farm 3 miles from my home with the 1806. In the other picture we were hauling firewood with the 71. Both tractors are bone stock original and my 3 year old daughter is in love with them.

I added a non-factory no permanent modification headlight to my 100.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
