I made a visit to the powder coaters today and was able to get these pics as they pulled the yellow parts out of the oven! Timing is everything!
The hood, foot rest and some other parts got done in yellow but they will be the correct color ASAP. Dwayne the owner didn't want me to take any pics due to the darker color when they came out of the oven. He told me the color changes as it cools down. I was happy the way the cast iron turned out! The powder coating looks good.
As a side note, ya gotta be careful with guys named DWayne.

cub cadet original
methos we just got a 1962 original and it had bad rear end oil in it so we changed the oil but under the left rear axel housing there is a big hole and it is weeping oil do all of them have it its all original because you know about originals its not threaded it appears just to be a round hole is it supposed to have that hole

Duke, those parts really look good. I don't know what I'd do if I got to work on a Cub that wasn't all greasy! Have you got the hardware back from plating yet, so that you can start screwing this back together?
That really looks nice. Can't wait to see it as it goes together. Did you have to do much bodywork on the hood and fenders? Congrats! John
