Junior, that thing looks very aggressive with the tires and I love the narrow front rims on the GT's.

I finally got out to mess with the 682 tonight. couldn't take seeing all the snow on the drive..

It's time to replace the drive sprocket and chain on the thrower.. The teeth are completely gone!! how it still works is beyond me.

Good pics jay! last night we got 3 inches of snow, and its drifty so school is closed today! I plowed the snow off the drive and it took me about 1.5 hours!! all that seat time. Were supposed to get another 3 today and 8-11 tonight and as they say "moderate snow accumulation" tommorow!!! this is awesome!!! its also very windy!. Im runnin out of room to push snow from the last 2 or 3 storms though

Major blizzard here. Have a drift taller than the blower. So, went out to fire up old trusty 1450 to blow it. Didn't get to the choke in time, so it died. No big deal, right? Nothing would turn over. Not even a click and the lights wouldn't work.

No problem. Just ground issue. So I fixed that, and now I only get a click. ARRGHHH. When I actually am in a really important need it won't fire!

So, to get by, I grabbed my jumper box and with the key in one hand, I grounded the jumper to the shoot lever, and used the positive to turn the starter over. It ran and I got the job done.

So tonight, new (from the parts tractor) solonoid is being installed.

Sometimes I question why I fight old tractors all the time. Fix one thing another breaks!!!! Eventually it will be new.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
