Hi, this is the 1250 that my parents have and I take care of (fun trade off isn't it).
Except for the seat (which was probably a nice improvment) it seems to be all orginal. The camera died before I got a picture of the front, but the only thing that I know is missing is some bar or something in the front that holds the deck belt adjustment all the way back. I think it was just so you could remove/ change the belt and deck with one person easily.
It has a k301 and the 44a deck. Unfortantly this is all we have, the front plow or a snow blower would have been great for the winters though. Trying to get one if we can find one close enough, but you don't see a lot of cubs for sale in this area.
This even has the orginal tires, but I think we won't be getting too much more life with them.

Default My last one.

I think I got sorta lucky with this. One picture is where the mag wire got cut. But hey.. A MAG! One is proof I need a new axle and spindles. And one is what I found where I park my truck after being gone all day picking this jewel up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
