Another great day here. Took the 129 and finished working on the driveway with the front blade. Took the front rims of the 128 and prepped them for primer and paint. Got the front side painted. Will paint the back side tomorrow.
Also cleaned and painted the muffler. I will be mounting it as a stack on the 128. Cleaned and primed the Clutch driver for the 128. Slow but sure progress. Feel like I actually got some thing accomplished today.

Front side painted:

Muffler drying, used Hi Temp Paint:

Clutch Driver repaired and in primer:

Default Put the IH blade on rear of O', worked on 124

Got some wrenching in today, was almost 50 degrees here. Worked on the 124, got carb, coil, new spark plug on. Took breather apart and cleaned that up, also cleaned up the points too. Have a few more things to do yet before I can try to fire it up. Put the rear blade on the "new" O'. I'm kinda forgetting where the springs attach. If I remember, they have a tab they hook to and the tab bolts to the axle housing? Think I'm missing the tabs if so. Anyway, hooked it up and will play with it tomorrow after teaching the kids to snowboard

Jude your rear ags on the 124 look good even with yellow rims That rear blade looks sweet too! You might have gotten more done if I hadn't blown your phone up all day today.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
