got out the 102 today. she had a flat front tire. got that fixed. went to go start snow blowing the end of the driveway and the auger sprocket blew apart....so thats sitting in the shop waiting until i can get a replacement.

thats my cub day!
No pics??? Wanna see those tru powers.

Eric, send it on up and I'll do my best to get it out for ya. PM me if you want my address. It was tedious and took some patience. Saved myself $35, now just need to get a couple new keys as the other one that came with 124 is cracked.
Some patience? That's a under statement!

The last couple of days I've split Allen's 122 took the hydro lift and creeper off switched rock shafts from the 125 and 122. Rebuilt the clutch on the 122. I wonder if Allen will notice that stainless steel drive shaft in there. Friday and Saturday I struggled until I turned the radio on and things went a lot better for me and Allen's 122 after that.

I also made reports to Allen to keep him updated on the progress. I took pics but Allen has them now. Got to keep the boss happy!

Well Jude after your success with your key I went at mine again tonight for another hour. NO LUCK . On a lighter note, I did get the replacement hood for the 1282 striped and fixed a couple dents. Still have some sanding to do but almost done.

Sounds like you had a good weekend Duke!!

woke up to 3 inches of snow. so i started up the 1450 and blew most of it then i cleaned up with the 128 and blade. i'm really starting to love the 128. then i pulled the 1650 into the shop and took the motor out so i can replace the connecting rod and the motor mounts. kinda boring but a busy cub day

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
