Really, Who could turn down FREE work?
Ask the field owner Allen. You may just get to host a big field day!

I asked Allen last night if he drove the 100 out there to show them what a real tractor looked like.

Pa Cooner
Glad you got to run your Cub
I was sure hoping to get enough snow to push. But mostly ice here.

I feel your pain Ben. I just dropped my K301AQS off at the machine shop to be rebuilt. I've found a place that will do all the machine but let me reassemble the engine myself. I'm letting them set the valves and install the piston and rings so that's done right. They are doing a "master rebuild" and will replace everything with new parts.

Once I get it back I'm going to pull the K301AQS from the 1200 and take it in and have it done as well. Once I get that one back I'm going to put it on the shelf for a spare. My wallet is lighter but I'm stoked to get the motor back and installed for the SC PD next month.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
