Thanks Jude! I figured if I didn't say anything about it someone would've asked about it.

I had plans to put the brakes back on the 1282, I took them off the other day and cleaned everything up. They were really rusty from the last 27 years. Well long story short I was installing a kitchen counter top yesterday and trashed my back . Looks like the will be waiting for a few more days to get put back together. I did get one side on Friday night so here's a before and after for you guys.

Thanks Eric! I never noticed the winking but maybe those pain pills are doing their job. Rest up and get feeling better.

Thanks Allen! Keeping the 125 to run the tiller worked out great! So much better then using a creeper in the 122. It handled the extentions very well. It ran/sounded better under load then what it does riding it around the yard.

Wife asked me this morning when I was going to do some more tilling for flower beds.

Managed to get the mule drive and some of the undercarriage done this weekend for the super. Saving the deck itself for last.

I got my steering rebuilt today, its so awesome to have tight steering,i also did the thrust bearing upgrade, which is very nice too. I also built a skid plate for the bottom tiller gearbox pulley,i will post some pics of it later.

How you like your 125 so far Duke? If its anything like my 123 they are awesome tractors. Your tiller looks like it does as good of a job as mine

This was actually yesterday's work. It kicked my butt most of the day, as I was also called into work for a bit too. But finally, I got the choke mechanism worked out, and the correct air cleaner mounted and Finally!! Both Side covers on !!! I had to drill and tap the 3 mounting holes in carb for 1/4-20 , as all 3 10-24 holes were stripped completely gone. HOWWW????? My pics show the rest, minus the smile on my face. The Stainless muffler Outlet pipe needs to be moved where I kinked it, but thats work for another day. Then I can cut UGH my screen to re install. It is painted and looks so great! I forgot that pic though.

Looking forward to your pics Ben.

I'm liking the 125 alot. Evan has claimed it and has called dibs on the loader too! The tiller works great. I love having both extentions of it. The 125 handled the tiller great. The tines on your tiller are in better shape then mine but they will last me another season or three.

Thank you Duke! I was also amazed how much both covers really do attenuate the engine noise. Mine also has solid mounts.

Here is the skid plate i made for the tiller pulley,in the second pic you can see where i put a tab on it to hook on the gearbox mount to keep it from getting pulled back,i also made it so it has a little preload against the gearbox mount when i tighten the bolts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
