I washed Scrappy, then put it to use hauling 5 loads of trimmings from my first use of the Stihl gas powered hedge clipper. Gawdamighty that thing could take fingers off in a blink.
Although it doesn't look like it, that's the O after 5 min with the power washer. While it's a tossup whether it leaks more oil or burns more oil, it ALWAYS starts and shifts well (since I replaced the two gears the DPO ripped teeth out of and straightened the shifter forks years ago). Yes, it's a POS, but it's a reliable POS!

yesterday was a nice sunny day, but cold. Yard was rather dry, so I got out my model 72 and gave it a wash after a winter of snow plowing duty! Hooked up the old and rusty #2 cart and took it all into the back where we all were. I'll be putting 7 of those chickens in my freezer this month

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
