Thanks guys! There was so much pitting underneath, and anywhere 2 parts were bolted together. Im glad I saved it. Now, today, since there is no snow and the sun is shining Im getting back to work on the 107. I've gotten the hydro lever freed up. Steering column out. I need to get some hy-tran and a new filter for the hydro then see if I can get it running. It needs to take me for a ride.

Nice job William. I need to get my deck painted and reassembled so I don't have to mow with the sheet metal MTD anymore and sell it while it still works.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll try to get some action shots real soon. It's been a beautiful, brisk day here in Buckeye land this weekend. Sure hope it warms up quickly.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate hearing the compliments from all of you!

I cant wait to see bottom side at end of season. Have some ideas for next year, anticipating grass sticking places and high wear areas.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
