made some transmission gaskets yesterday for the model 72.
Also thought I would polish up the reduction plate cover. You know, get it ready for primer!

Nice work on the gaskets. My home made gaskets always look like crap. Love to see how you got to come out looking like factory stuff.

The 100R and the 1250. The 100R has the 12inch brinly on, getting ready to plow a wheat field.

Nice line up Donovan!
Thank you for the nice comments on the gaskets! All I do is take my time, and punch the holes first! I use a China 1/4" deep well socket sharpened on the end with a bench top grinder. It was just enough to get by and make the hole the size I needed. A good wack with the ball peen hammer on a soft piece of ply wood helps. I really need to invest in a set of gasket punches.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
