Thanks guys. It looks better in the pics than it does in person. The sheet metal is rust pitted badly and there's 5 or 6 places I had to cut out and weld in new metal because it was either rusted through or cracked. It should be good for another 10 or 20 years I hope.

Installed the 48" deck on the 100 yesterday, and mowed the yard.
Pulled it great, even in tall grass. ![]()

Adam your deck looks great! I'm glad it mowed so well for you.
I got the large garden done. I was hoping to get some pics but Evan got bored so he went home and by the time I got done it was about dark and I couldn't get any pics worth a hoot. ![]() |

Thanks for the compliments on the deck guys.
Yesterday, I rolled the yard with the 126. Looks like I'm not going to have the deck finished for the first mowing of the year so I'll have to use the MTD. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Great job on the deck Adam!
I hear ya on having to use the MTD for the 1st mow - I'm darn near finished rebuilding the 42" deck for my 104 but the grass has outpaced my progress so the MonkeyWards mower is doing the job. I can't complain too much though . . . that poor LT has been ridden REAL hard and put up wet so many times it's about ready to give up the ghost but it keeps on trooping along! |

Was looking thru CL this morning and saw an add for a 30 gallon parts washer. An item I have been wanting for my shop. Called and found out the guy still had it. Long story short, Picked it up and also a small sand blaster cabinet from the same guy, yet another item I have been wanting. Got everything home and of course got the sand blaster going. Put the head from the 128 in there and got it looking pretty good.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
