Default Got myself a little gift for XMas :)

Hoping it will warm up soon so I can get this 73 off the trailer and into the garage for some tuning up. Should be a fun winter playing around with this one and my 108

It's gonna need a new wire harness and the clutch has to be rebuilt. Once things warm up a little I plan to pull out the clutch on this 73 and my 108 to rebuild them over the winter. The 108 is "kind" of working but if I'm going to send out the 73's clutch to get refaced I might as well send out the 108's too and save some on shipping plus just get these all done at once Shouldn't take to long and we will be playing around. I can't see the wiring harness being to much trouble since there is so little to these things.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
