Here's the catch up pictures

I cut the flanges off the bucket,
And ground it smooth.
This is the bucket in post #5
I welded the grooves in later.

Had to add plates to level the mounting surface
on the back of bucket.
The arms are a few inches inboard.
fel149.jpg

Drilled holes and added DOM tube for
mounting a brace across the top of the vertical arms

fel165.jpg
Drilled hole in brackets and tube
For locating top bracket before final welding
of brackets when Top pins are installed.

The pins are supposed to be here this week.

fel166.jpg
Used DOM tube again to keep from crushing the tube,
when I tighten the bolt.

Glad you brought that up

In post #14 (this build) graduated to a 1864.
I was going to put the power steering and everything involved on the 1863,
That's where the 63 & 1/2 came in.
Now it will be a 1864 since I purchased that one.

I am making (Two) of all the smaller pieces of loader stuff
In plans to make the 1863 another light duty loader.
At-least that the plan for now.

You are gett'en 'er done, nice work! Handy to have some commercial machinery at your disposal.

I'm curious about why your joystick control only has two work ports. The purpose of a joystick control is to have four work ports controlled by a single lever.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
