Great pics, Adam! I always enjoy seeing your work. I like your rear blade.

Jake, I finally figure out a way to get at least the front page attached in the event you are interested. I downloaded all the plans off Garden Tractor Talk. I think this would a neat machine to have around for the fun of it.

How bout some "yard art" for ma, take two one bottom plows and weld together for a "anchor". find a old 8-10 ft disk, a plasma cutter, all kinds of "art" stuff there. that would take up a few class hours

Default Cadet Mini Truck

The most useful attachment I made for my Cadet was the dump box (see pic). This is version 3, but all the bugs are out. It is important to mount it high enough to clear the 3-point. I made it hydraulic dumper for a while, but it was a waste and a manual dump leaves the hydraulics for more imprtant things. Just keep in mind that all weight above and behind the center of the rear axle contributes to lift on the front end...so, I added weight to the front:

A close second for best improvemet was the addition of the front winch, bumber, and lights. I have done a crazy amount of work with the winch...having a winch you can set up anywhere gets pretty handy!...and the stock lights aren't worth their weight on the machine.

Good luck!

Cub 1641 - Accepted to settle a $400 debt
I got all of the original paperwork with my Cub! The buyer traded in something in for a $4999 credit, and used it to buy the 1641, a roller, wheel weights, box blade, mower deck & bagger, Ripper, Seeder, two sets of tires, and a trailer.
I added DOT headlights, tailights & flashers, a beacon, 3000 lbs winch, bumper & brushguard, 18 inch front tires, dump box, HD Exhaust, & scabbard.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
